Bud size drives retail price more than chemistry does, which creates one of the few genuine bargains in cannabis.
What popcorn buds are
Smaller flowers from lower branches that received less light. Same plant, same cure, usually within a couple of percent on THC. Our popcorn buds shelf sells them by the ounce and in weight.
Where they win
Joints, bowls, cannabutter and infusions. They grind evenly and quickly, and nobody can tell once it is rolled.
Where AAAA earns its price
Aroma and flavour detail. If you smoke slowly and pay attention, AAAA top shelf weed is a different experience. If you are packing a bowl before a shift, it is money burned.
The split most people land on
An ounce of popcorn for daily smoke, an eighth of AAAA for the weekend, and a gram of hash for evenings.
